Of all the spare time activities that people can engage in, none is more popular to people of all ages
and in every walk of life than Stamp Collecting. Million of Men, Women and Children find recreation and
satisfaction in the joys of Stamp Collecting. If you are not one of them you may not be acqainted with
word "PHILATELIST".
The hobby of collecting stamps and postal materials is called Philately and the person who pursues the hobby is called a
philatelist. Stamps are the windows of a nation, reflecting its heritage, culture, trade, history, flora, fauna, and the
like. The pursuance of this universal hobby offers enjoyment, knowledge, friendship with people having similar interests
in many parts of the world, and is a relaxing diversion. An album of stamps can therefore be a book of knowledge as well
as a book of original reasearch. Hence, this hobby is aptly called as the "King Of Hobbies".
